Khalifa Port Abu Dhabi

A suite of high-end digital applications created for the Visitor Centre at Khalifa Port, including games, interactive animations and a real-time camera app.

Sector: Infrastructure / Visitor Experience / Brand Experience

Scope: Creative direction / Design / Project management / Interactive experience

The challenge

The Visitor Centre needed more than static information. It had to communicate the scale, ambition and sophistication of Khalifa Port in a way that felt engaging and contemporary, while working as part of a broader branded environment. The challenge was to create digital experiences that felt polished and premium, but also intuitive enough for a public-facing space with different types of visitors moving through it.

The idea

Rather than relying on a single screen-based presentation, the answer was to build a suite of digital touchpoints that could make the space feel more dynamic and alive. By combining interactive animations, game-based elements and a real-time camera application, the experience became more than a layer of information - it became part of how visitors understood and engaged with the port itself. The aim was to make something that felt high-end and accessible at the same time: clear enough to use easily, but rich enough to leave an impression.

The outcome

The final result was a suite of digital applications that helped give the Visitor Centre a more contemporary and engaging presence. By mixing interaction, motion and real-time content, the experience added depth to the space and created a stronger sense of immersion than a conventional informational setup would have achieved. The work also showed how digital design can support a physical environment in a way that feels purposeful rather than decorative.
