The challenge
At the time, many of Dubai’s schools and universities were not widely seen as natural stepping stones to ambitious, high-impact futures. The challenge was to shift that perception and create a campaign that felt aspirational without falling into the usual education clichés. It needed to show a believable connection between the subject a student chooses now and the kind of role they could grow into later.
The idea
The campaign centred on that transformation - the student of today becoming the innovator, leader or specialist of tomorrow. Visually, we used bold, striking illustration to give the work immediate impact, but built each piece with enough layering and visual intelligence to make people pause and engage with it properly. The aim was to create something that felt confident, contemporary and ambitious, while rewarding a closer look.
The outcome
The campaign gave Dubai International Academic City a stronger and more aspirational voice, helping frame its institutions as places that could open doors to bigger futures rather than simply provide education. It also contributed to a significant increase in enquiries across the schools and universities involved, showing that the work resonated both creatively and commercially.
